EUAN RELLIE | Senior Managing Director
Euan Rellie is joint founder and Senior Managing Director and is based in New York. Since founding BDA in 1996, Mr. Rellie has been based in Singapore, New York and London and has worked across China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, India and the Middle East. From 1990 to 1996 he worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Schroders, the leading UK investment bank now part of Citigroup, and was based in New York, London and Singapore. For most of this period, Mr. Rellie worked on behalf of Western multinationals, assisting them in their international development. In 1995 and 1996, he was Head of SE Asia Execution for Schroders' Asia-Pacific Regional Advisory Group. Mr. Rellie’s clients in Asia have included BUPA, DuPont, Hanjin, ICI, Intel, Kraft Foods, Lubrizol, Nalco, Parker Hannifin, Philip Morris, Reuters, Rohm and Haas, Sara Lee and Tenneco. He was educated at Eton College and Cambridge University (BA Hons, History) and is a Corporate Finance Specialist Registered Representative. |

CHARLES MAYNARD | Senior Managing Director
Charles Maynard is joint founder and Senior Managing Director and is based in New York. Since founding BDA in 1996, Mr. Maynard has been based in Singapore, Tokyo and now New York where he is responsible for BDA’s Asian offices with a particular focus on Japan and Korea. While working for BDA, Mr. Maynard has advised on a number of successful transactions throughout the region. Prior to co-founding BDA, he worked with the Jardine Matheson Group, based in Hong Kong, China and Singapore both in corporate development and operations. Mr. Maynard was educated at Oxford University (MA Hons, Geography) and holds a Certified Diploma in Accountancy and Finance from the ACCA. |

ANDREW HUNTLEY | Senior Managing Director
Andrew Huntley is a Senior Managing Director of BDA and is based in London. Mr Huntley has led projects and advised clients on transactions in a wide range of sectors and in most East Asian countries. Before BDA, Mr. Huntley worked with the Jardine Matheson Group in HK, China, Taiwan and Vietnam. He was charged with formulating group strategy, identifying and executing investment opportunities and acquisitions, and assisting development of JM Group businesses. He acted as the Group Representative in Vietnam and had executive responsibility for various Group businesses there and in Taiwan. Mr. Huntley was educated at Oxford University (BA Hons, Chinese; MA Oxon.). Mr. Huntley is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and conversant in Vietnamese.

PAUL DIGIACOMO | Managing Director
Paul DiGiacomo is a Managing Director based in Hong Kong. Mr. DiGiacomo has ten years experience in M&A and corporate finance in Asia. He joined BDA in 1997 and was previously based in our New York and Singapore offices before relocating to Hong Kong to open and head BDA's office there, where he is responsible for transaction execution and client liaison in Greater China. Mr. DiGiacomo has identified and executed transactions for several of BDA’s multinational clients in the Greater China and Asia Pacific regions, with a focus on the chemicals, healthcare, technology and manufacturing sectors. His clients in Asia include Celestica, Hercules, Lubrizol, Jardines, Reuters, Rohm & Haas and Ryder. Mr. DiGiacomo was educated at Trinity College (BA Hons, Political Science). |

YUUICHIRO NAKAJIMA | Managing Director
Yuuichiro Nakajima is a Managing Director based in Tokyo. Prior to joining BDA, Mr. Nakajima was Founder and Managing Partner of a Tokyo-based merchant bank, Crimson Phoenix. From 1999 to 2003 Mr. Nakajima was Managing Director in the investment banking business of PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Tokyo. From 1997 to 1999 Mr. Nakajima was Director and Head of Execution at Crosby Corporate Advisory in London. Mr. Nakajima joined S.G. Warburg (now UBS Investment Bank) in 1987 in London and served as Head of its Tokyo M&A team from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Nakajima was educated at Keio University (Economics) and London Business School (Business Administration). He is bilingual in Japanese and English. |

ROHIT SINGH | Managing Director
Rohit Singh is a Managing Director based in Mumbai. Prior to joining BDA, Mr. Singh was a Managing Director at Private Capital Management (an investment advisory subsidiary of Legg Mason with US$30bn assets under management) since 2002. At Private Capital, he was responsible for asset allocation and portfolio decisions. Between 1999 and 2002, he was a management consultant in the corporate finance and strategy practice of McKinsey in New York. At McKinsey, he advised clients on acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, strategic planning and corporate finance advisory engagements across various industries. He previously worked at Morgan Stanley in Boston. He was educated at Boston College, USA (MS Finance), Cardiff Business School, UK (MBA) and Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, India (Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering). Mr. Singh is fluent in Hindi and English. |

JEFFREY WANG | Managing Director, Head of Shanghai Office
Jeffrey Wang is Managing Director based in Shanghai. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Wang worked in the Investment Banking Division of Salomon Smith Barney, and its predecessor, Schroders PLC, based in Shanghai and Hong Kong. There, he advised multinational companies on a number of acquisitions, JVs and other direct investments in China. The clients he worked for included BTR (Invensys), Associated British Foods, Bass, Danone, Welbilt and Perot. He also worked on IPOs and private placements for local companies. From 1988 to 1995, he worked as correspondent banking officer in the International Division of the Bank of Communications, one of the largest commercial banks in China. Mr. Wang speaks fluent Mandarin and English and was educated at Beijing University (BA, Economics). |

MARK WEBSTER | Managing Director
Mark Webster is a Managing Director based in Shanghai. He previously worked for Standard Chartered Bank - Shanghai Branch as a Vice President in the Multi-National Corporates division assisting clients such as BP, Syngenta and UPS with strategic, funding and operational matters. Prior to that, he worked at JPMorgan’s London office (earlier Robert Fleming Investment Bank) as an Associate in their Mergers and Acquisitions department. From 1995 to 1998, he worked for Arthur Andersen in London where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA). Mr. Webster graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Modern History and Economics and speaks Mandarin Chinese and French. |

JEFF ACTON | Director
Jeff Acton is a Director based in Tokyo. He previously worked for Maple Leaf Foods International in Toronto on Japan-related business. Prior to that, he worked at Sanyo Electric, the Japanese telecoms equipment company in Osaka, Japan, in product strategy & marketing. From 1997-2002, he worked at Pratt & Whitney in Canada in engineering and design. Mr. Acton has an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, and an MSc/BSc from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada (with a year at Kyoto University). Mr. Acton is fluent in spoken and written Japanese and conversant in French. |

Hans Kim is a Director based in Seoul. Prior to joining BDA, Mr. Kim was Director of Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance, Korea from 2001 to 2003. He has worked with clients such as Hynix Semiconductor, Kia Steel, municipal governments, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy. Previous to that, Mr. Kim was head of capital markets at BNP Paribas, Korea from 1994 to 2000. Mr. Kim has also worked at Westpac Banking Corporation and First National Bank of Boston. Mr. Kim was educated at Sung Kyun Kwan University in Seoul, Korea (BA in English Language & Literature) and London Business School (MBA in Finance). |

NORIYUKI SONODA | Executive Senior Advisor
Noriyuki Sonoda is an Executive Senior Advisor based in BDA's Tokyo office. Prior to joining BDA he worked for 37 years with Kuraray Co. Ltd, a US$2.5bn Japanese textile and chemical company. Mr. Sonoda was primarily responsible for developing the overseas trading businesses of both the textile and chemicals divisions. From 1996 to 1998, he managed Kuraray’s PVOH Division as Deputy General Manager and from 1998 to 2001 he was Managing Director of Kuraray Specialties Asia Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), the regional HQ of Kuraray’s chemicals business. Mr. Sonoda was educated at Keio University (BA in Business and Commerce). |

ARUN BAGCHI | Assistant Director
Arun Bagchi is an Assistant Director based in Mumbai. Before joining BDA, Mr. Bagchi was the India General Manager of Connell Bros, a San Francisco based specialty chemical distribution company, where he managed relationships with chemical companies. From 1997-1999, he held management positions at ICI Acrylics. Before that he worked for the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), a leading Indian oil exploration company, and at National Organic Chemical Industries Ltd (NOCIL, then a Shell JV). He was educated at the Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore, and the Institute of Technology - Benares Hindu University (B Tech - Chemical Engineering). Mr. Bagchi is fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. |

SUNIL CHADDHA | Assistant Director
Sunil Chaddha is an Assistant Director based in BDA's New York office. Most recently, he worked for Loughlin Meghji + Company, a financial advisory boutique based in New York City. Mr. Chaddha also organized an M&A advisory practice dedicated to Indian-US cross-border transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Chaddha worked in Kroll Zolfo Cooper's Corporate Advisory and Restructuring Group. He has also held financial positions at RJR Nabisco. He has worked with clients such as Interstate Bakeries, Solutia, MCI WorldCom, Hedstrom, QH Talbros and Sundaram Brake. Mr. Chaddha holds a BSc in Commerce & Engineering from Drexel University, and an MBA from Boston University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA). Mr. Chaddha is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He is fluent in English and conversant in Hindi. |

Director
Gene Kim is an Assistant Director based in Seoul. Before joining BDA, Gene was Head of Finance and Investor Relations from 2002 to 2008, at Pulsus Technologies, a Korean digital audio semiconductor company. Before that, Gene was an account manager at National Bank of Canada (Vancouver) from 1997 to 2001. He was responsible for executing cross-border M&A transactions involving leading Investment Banking groups, and for corporate finance activities including industry research and capital raising. He also worked with venture capital and private equity firms including Softbank, Carlyle, Alcatel Ventures, Intel Capital, Hyundai and Kookmin Bank. Gene was educated at University of Oregon (BS in Finance) and is fluent in English and Korean. |

JUN YUP KIM | Assistant Director
Jun Yup Kim is an Assistant Director based in Seoul. Mr. Kim previously worked for Deloitte & Touche as a investment banker in Seoul, Korea, advising domestic business conglomerates and foreign MNCs on domestic and cross-border transactions. Before that, he led the investment banking division at Labinvest Associates, a private equity and technology consulting firm in Seoul. He also led the corporate restructuring advisory team at Korea Corporate Restructuring Corporation, where he worked on public sector and private M&A/restructuring projects, involving financially ailing assets and businesses. Before the Asian financial crisis in 1997, Mr. Kim was an underwriter on global equity-linked issues for Samsung Group, as an associate investment banker at Samsung Securities in Seoul. He worked as an equity analyst and M&A advisor during Korea's rehabilitation in the late 1990s. Mr. Kim is a finance graduate from the University of Baltimore, USA. He is a Korean national, fluent in Korean and English. |

TAMER MAKARY | Assistant Director
Tamer Makary is an Assistant Director based in Bahrain. Mr. Makary was previously Vice President at EFG-Hermes Group, a Middle Eastern investment bank based in Cairo. Mr. Makary was a member of the advisory team responsible for the privatization of the UAE telecoms market. Mr. Makary also served as Project Manager for the Dubai Investment Group in its consortium's acquisition of a stake in the previously state-owned Tunisia Telecom. Before moving to the Middle East, Mr. Makary began his investment banking career with ABN Amro's Global Telecommunications, Technology and Media Group. He then helped to roll out Wells Fargo's healthcare investment banking practice in New York. Mr. Makary holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University. He holds dual citizenship in both the United States and Egypt and is fluent in spoken Arabic and English. |

LYDIA XU | Assistant Director
Lydia Xu is an Assistant Director based in Shanghai. She worked at BDA from 2001 to 2006. She left BDA in 2006, to work at Linde, the Germany based industrial gases company, as China Business Development Manager, before returning to BDA in 2007. Before 2001, she worked at Asia Pulp & Paper (China), where she was responsible for conducting business analysis and evaluating market opportunities. She also previously worked for four years in investment banking with Hainan Securities Co Ltd, where she assisted Chinese corporate clients on gaining stock market listings. Ms. Xu graduated from Beijing University (BA, Mathematics) and the China Europe International Business School (MBA). She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. |

Sanzhong Zheng is an Assistant Director based in Shanghai. Prior to joining BDA, he worked at Core Pacific - Yamaichi Capital, Shanghai Office for seven years as Vice President and Head of Corporate Finance, where he advised clients in IT, mining and metal sectors on raising capital via IPOs and private placements. Before that, he had worked in Nestle's Qingdao operations' finance department, and had also held senior positions at the Xi'an State Tax Bureau, and Zhejiang Geological Company. Mr. Zheng is a member of CICPA. He was educated at the University of Amsterdam (Master Degree in International Finance) and Changan University (MS in Geology).
