PHILIPPINES
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has injected
US$50m into Goodyear Philippines Inc, the largest tire manufacturer
in the country. The capital has increased the US company’s ownership
from 69% to 89%. The Philippine National Oil Company owns
the remaining stake. (July 9th 1998)
